Community Involvement

Raised in New Orleans, Michael's innate sense of the value of community is tantamount to how he approaches business. This is strongly reflected in how he dedicates his personal life to community involvement as well. Michael attends services at his neighborhood church, The Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii. Besides allowing him to get to know his neighbors better, the rich Italian history of The Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii is a point of pride for Michael's family history. Michael and his wife Genevieve also recently began volunteering in their West Loop neighborhood at the Mercy Home for Boys & Girls. They both serve as tutors for at-risk children. The Mercy Home has been a Catholic institution in Chicago since 1887.
